Max American Bulldog Dog

MAX…AMERICAN BULLDOG !! …I rescued on Wednesday an Am Bulldog named Max from a home where he was neglected. The owner kept him in a cage and threatened to drop him in Homestead to get rid of him. I've had him for 2 days but cannot keep him since I have the 4 dogs ( an old big mutt that I also rescued) and cannot keep anymore. My Frenchies are very territorial and 2 of them pick fights with other dogs that come to the house. i don't want to send him to a rescue place to be placed in another cage. His name is Max and he is a beautiful, ,1 and half year old, pure bred. He is white and light brown with gorgeous yellow eyes. He is also very sweet, very playful and intelligent and friendly with all and other dogs. I took him to the vet yesterday. She examined his skin that is red and itchy but the test gave negative to mites but gave him a shot for the itching. He is about 6 pounds underweight but other than that he is healthy. He has papers that were given to me by the former owners that were not even the original owner.This is really sad how these wonderful dogs get tossed and discarded. We are having Max neutered.
