Sassy and her three brothers were rescued from a hard life in a noisy, dusty, auto salvage yard on the mid-Peninsula, where they had been born to a feral mom. The kittens were all so handleable from the start that we could not help but want to see them all find loving, safe homes. Despite them being a bit older than kittens we normally take into care, we could not resist them. And we were rewarded, as none of these kittens has ever done anything more overt than hiss…and one of them, Sunny, has never even done that.Sassy is a real cutie pie, with a gorgeous coat as soft as cashmere. She is a quiet, ladylike kitten, who, at times, is still puzzled by human ways. But she loves you to pet her, hold her against you or on your lap. Despite having three brothers of her own, she has been paired with Grover, a fun-loving orange-and-white tabby boy, who is teaching Sassy all about playing with toys and the joys of kittenhood, including a little lighthearted wrestling. And, she likes it…and likes Grover, too! Sassy is looking for a permanent place in your home and heart, along with her kitty guru, Grover.The Fine Print — While Community Cat Rescue would love to make our adoptable cats and kittens available to everyone, everywhere, we must limit our adoption service area to San Francisco Peninsula cities and towns. We simply do not have the volunteer-power or financial resources to make home visits (required for all adoptions), delivery of adopted cats/kittens and follow-up visits outside the Peninsula.
