Christa Golden Retriever Dog

Hi everyone, my name is Christa! I was living on the streets of Houston and it was pretty tough for a sweet little gal like me. I ended up at BARC (the city pound) and it was so scary. I tried to be brave but they said I was too shy and that no one would ever want me. Then a nice lady from RED Collar came to meet me and she knew right away that there were lots of families that would love me! I love to play with other dogs, cuddle, take walks and play with my toys. I am about 2 years old and weigh 45 lbs. I am a golden retriever mix. I'm a little shy at first but once I meet you I'm as sweet as I can be! I am very fun, playful, and friendly - they tell me I have lots of personality! I am currently staying in a foster home and here I met my best friend, Belle who is also a foster. We are inseparable - just like BFFs should be. We play together, sleep together, eat together…well, you get the idea! Belle and I look out for each other and when you don't have a family, your friends are all you have! We would love to find a home that has enough love for the both of us.
