Drivers Hiring Criteria
- Must have a Class A CDL (MVT does not require HazMat endorsements)
- Must be a minimum of 23 years of age
- Must have a minimum of 2 years verified comparable class vehicle within 6 months of application date.
- MVR of not more than 6 points (points established by insurance carrier)
- DOT reportable accidents, upon review.
- Felony conviction upon review, no multiple convictions
- DWI/DUI conviction upon review, no multiple convictions
- Misdemeanor convictions upon review
- Zero tolerance, involvement of controlled substance or sexual registry
- Must be able to read and speak the English Language as defined by FMCSR 391.11(2)
- Trainees-MVTI graduates only and must graduate with a 90% or better grade point average.
