Adorable Gaston was being offered for free on the roadside with his littermates Marcel and Pierre. Although the rescue group traditionally rescues dogs, they weren’t about to walk away from the three little bunny amigos.
Gaston is now 16 weeks old and the largest of the trio. He has gorgeous shiny black fur with white accents. He is playful, inquisitive and fairly independent. Gaston is an active little guy that “loves zoomies and hopping up on his boxes to peek over his domain. He also enjoys climbing over my legs or behind my back when I join him in the playroom.”
He has been good about using his litter box and he enjoys petting, but he isn’t all that crazy about being held, which is fairly typical of bunnies. If there’s one thing he knows, it’s when it is treat time. He will come scurrying when you tap on the floor.
Gaston has been living with bunny-friendly dogs, and does great with them. He’s unfazed by their presence and would likely do fine with a dog or cat that is accustomed to other animals. He would probably enjoy a bunny buddy, so if you wanted to adopt his brother, Pierre, Gaston would greatly appreciate it.
