The Washington Akita Group is a “group of concerned Akita people dedicated to the rescue and placement of orphaned Akitas.” The group focuses on Eastern and Central Washington, but occasionally reaches out to other areas in the Pacific Northwest when it has kennel space.
This time they’ve stretched all the way down to Southern California. With the help of rescue contacts in the area, the WAG has saved this guy from a high-kill shelter.
Bender is currently staying with a foster family and trying to learn some additional manners, but he needs a new home. Won’t you help him find his forever home?
“He is good with female dogs and kids over 14. Loves to cuddle. He panics when left alone in a kennel, so will need a stay at home owner and a secure yard to play in.”
