Cool Car of the Day: 1960 Cadillac Roadster

by recycler on March 5, 2014

Customizing a classic car is fun and dangerous at the same time. Not necessarily physically dangerous, but philosophically dangerous/muscle car-ly dangerous.

How do you go about incorporating what made the car a classic car, and often a strong muscle car, in the first place while also building upon the original ideas?

This 1960 Cadillac seems to have found the happy medium between the two with this customized 1960 Cadillac Roadster. This custom Caddy has taken the original large flying tailfins that were such a defining characteristic of the Cadillacs of this era and taken those to an even more prominent level.

See the car after the jump.

by recycler on February 26, 2014

Meet Gabby! Gabby is a Doberman Pinscher girl that is looking for a new home. Could you be the person to take home this sweetie? Are you ready to adopt a dog?

Gabby is a cropped, docked and spayed female. This Doberman Pinscher is an active and athletic three-year old. Because of her energy, the rescue organization isn’t willing to place her in a home with children. She will get along with smaller, well-behaved dogs. Larger breed males are on a case-by-case basis.

Regifting with Recycler

Don’t clutter the jewelry box when you can regift on recycler!

There’s a pretty good chance during the holiday season you are going to get a couple of pretty lame gifts. You will probably give a few gifts that you know you definitely wouldn’t keep, but you’re hoping the other person (and their different tastes) like it.

Hey, no one knows what to get your weird Uncle Ted and weird Uncle Ted doesn’t know what to get anyone. We get it.

But instead of being stuck with a waffle on a stick maker that you’ll never use, why not turn that gift that doesn’t fit for you into a gift that someone else will enjoy…plus a little extra pocket money couldn’t hurt, right? [click to continue…]

Cute Pet of the Day: Bonnie & Clyde

by recycler on December 13, 2013

Bonnie (black) and Clyde (fawn) are an older couple of pugs, estimated to be at least 10 years old. But don’t let that deter you, they still have plenty of love left to give.

This dynamic duo came to us via a good samaritan. On a warmer summer afternoon, this good samaritan returned to his vehicle after work to find these two tied in the bed of his truck, very hot and very thirsty. He took them home and called around to find help for them.

Bonnie is visually impaired and has limited hearing. Clyde is hearing impaired and has limited vision. We know nothing of their history, but if this adventure is any indication, they have been through thick and thin together and must be adopted as a pair. [click to continue…]
