Hi: My name is Chris. I have a son who is 23yrs old. He's been working part time since Highschool and has recently taken on a second job (has worked three at times). His problem is his jobs are not very close. He bought a car for 1200 dollars and its been a money pit. I'ts not even smogable and every time he gets into it. He's told it needs more major work. My concern as a mother weve given him as much as we can, but our circumstances are as dire as his. My husband lost a good job approximately 4 yrs. ago. He's 61. My son bought a bike but has been hit twice (hit and run). As a mother I'm beside myself. I thought I'd bring this to the general population, hoping somewhere out there theres a good sumaritan who has a car they can give him. Maybe something can be worked out. Maybe even fix the car he has. He's had to put school on hold and his lifelong dream of becoming a Policeman. If you have any ideas or solutions, feel free to contact me...concerned mom-Chris at (323)254-5485 Thanks and bless you

All of the cars mentioned in this article are excellent examples for inexpensive cars. Two others to keep in mind are the less fancy LX model Ford Mustang, and all model years for the Ford Taurus excluding the 1-3 're badge models between the final Fox body Taurus and the nee model out this year as a re-design of the car. '

I own a 95 dodge neon.it has 104k on it and runs very well.and in my opinion is a fun car to drive.yes it may be small but it's good on gas.and dodge advertised it as the second fastest car in the dodge line-up.

I have an Accord ('06) and it's been pretty rock solid. For me, that's probably the best one of the bunch.
