The Chevrolet Chevelle SS was Chevy’s attempt to break into the muscle car segment. And boy did it work out well. The Chevelle SS became one of the iconic muscle cars of the 60s and 70s.
The first generation of the Chevy Chevelle began in 1964 and lasted through the 1967 model.
By the time, this 1967 version of the Chevelle came around, the model had received a restyling, extra safety features and some more beef under the hood. That wasn’t even the SS version, which the pictured Chevelle is, according to the listing.
