Josh Siegel – Chief Operating Officer

Josh Siegel leads the recycler.com team with more than 15 years of product, business, and operations leadership roles in Internet and high-tech industries. He brings extensive experience managing online products and platforms and has extensive expertise in technology advancements in online advertising.

Josh was formerly the Senior Director of Monetization for Veoh Networks. Before that, he launched and then inevitably headed the Yahoo! Publisher Network. Josh previously managed product and marketing for Everdream, a Software-as-as-Service (SaaS) for IT management now owned by Dell Corporation. From advertising to SaaS, Josh has led growth for key industry leading Internet platforms.

Josh holds a Bachelors in Finance  from California Polytechnic State University and a Masters of Science in Educational Technology from San Diego State University.  Josh and his wife and two children live in Los Angeles.

Jane Zhang – VP of Monetization

Jane Zhang brings 17 years of operations and product experience in online advertising and management consulting.  Her expertise includes launching online adverting businesses in Europe, Asia and Latin America, driving revenue growth initiatives and developing new products.  Prior to joining recycler.com, Jane was with Yahoo! for nine years.  She was the Senior Director of Yahoo! Advertising Marketplaces Group and on the leadership team that launched APT Advertising Platform. Before that, Jane was Director of International Platforms for Yahoo! and managed the launch of the Panama platform in 19 international markets.  She also headed up the company's International Customer and Content Solutions and served as Senior Product Manager for Advertising Systems.

Jane holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from The Anderson School at UCLA, a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Southern California, and Bachelor of Architecture from Southeast University in China. 

Lake Dai – VP of Product

Lake Dai – the architect of recycler.com – brings more than a dozen years of interactive product and team management experience to the company.  She currently oversees the product management and engineering teams.

Prior to joining recycler.com, Lake oversaw product strategy and development at Authenticlick, an internet start-up with industry-leading SEM optimization solutions. Prior to that, she held varies senior positions with Yahoo!, Alibaba.com, and Apple while covering a wide range of interactive products such as Search, Marketplace, Local Advertising, E-commerce, and consumer products.  While at Yahoo!, she received the prestigious Yahoo! Super Star Award twice in her 6-year tenure.

Fluent in English and Chinese, Lake holds a Business degree from Beijing Second Foreign Studies University. 

Jason Hays – VP, Business & Channel Development

Jason has more than 20 years of experience directing sales and marketing efforts at all levels.  Jason has helped lead various companies through start-up, survival, turnaround and growth modes. He currently leads Business and Channel Development for recycler.com and is responsible for partnership management and development activities, including agent, reseller, content distribution and sales programs.  He has also served as Publisher for two of TMP's publications in the San Francisco Bay area.

Prior to recycler.com, Jason served as CEO/President of 3D Solutions and President of Innuity Interactive, a web enablement and Internet advertising company with 22 offices serving the United States.  During his tenure, he helped create and manage joint marketing ventures with Yahoo!, City Search, IBM and Info Space.  While serving as President, Innuity Interactive achieved the ranking as the largest Web development company in the Pacific Northwest by Media, Inc. (2002).

Previous to this, Jason held various positions as Director of Business Development, Regional General Manager and Partner Sales Manager for Nextel Communications and US West New Vector.

Jason lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, Margo, and their three daughters: Alix, Alicia and Abigail.
